With drums beating and yangko dancing, laughter and joy filled the Lantern Festival celebration. On February 6th, the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, the company held a grand yangko drum performance to celebrate the Lantern Festival. At 3:30 PM, 17 performance teams composed of over 1,700 employees from 25 units set off from the West Gate of the work area amid firecracker sounds, passing through Xiji Avenue to enter the residential area for a parade. The rhythmic drums and cheerful yangko attracted thousands of employee family members and Caijiapo residents to watch. At 5 PM, the yangko drum performance was held at the square in front of the club. Company Chairman and Party Secretary Chang Pengju, General Manager Kong Xiaoqi, Deputy Party Secretary and Trade Union Chairman Wu Xiaojin, Deputy General Managers Yang Qiuquan, Wu Song, Shao Fengyue, Wang Yong, Du Zhimin, Hou Aimin, General Manager Assistant Feng Rui, and former factory-level leaders were seated in the viewing stand. Thousands of employee family members watched the performance. The 17 performance teams took turns performing on stage, and the club square was packed with people. The earth-shaking drums, cheerful yangko, and flying colored silk created an ocean of joy, with laughter and cheers everywhere. Everyone expressed their longing for a better life through cheerful yangko dancing and heralded the new year‘s development with rhythmic drums. After the yangko drum performance, the company held a small fireworks display on the lawn, allowing employee family members to enjoy a happy Lantern Festival celebration.
